Handcarved Wildlife Birds
I started carving wild birds some thirty years ago. The only birds I was carving then were ducks, and as the years went by I went into carving song birds. From song birds, as time went by I started carving birds of prey as well as other birds such as Blue Heron's Eagles and Falcons. As of today many of my birds are scattered throughout the United States as well as in Canada, France, Germany and Japan. Many hours are spent creating these birds starting out with only a 4x6x14 block of wood. Some birds may take up to six weeks to finish but when they are finished they look as realistic as possible.
